I am an affiliate and my sales up by 20% since I added the script that checks if visitor accepts cookies. When visitor come to visit website that I affiliated with, it comes to script that checks if visitor has cookies enabled and if it has cookies disbled - script tell him how to enable cookies and try again.
I noticed that over 35% of visitors has cookies blocked in their browser or by some security software.
I was making 8-10 sales per 1000 visitors before but now it is 12-16 per 1000 visitors! My AdWords campaigns almost twice more profitable now! I wish I write that script a few years ago... |

Sure I will share. Just need to adjust some statistic settings. In a few
hours it will be ready.
Everyone who need it can download it here:

Master.
I have tested the script on FireFox and IE.
It works great on FireFox however for IE , even with "accept all cookies" setting the script says that i don't have cookies enabled.
Here is the link :

Tried your link with Opera, FireFox and IE.. works fine. Probably you have some security/firewall software enabled. |

try adding
sleep 1;
right after the following line:
print $q->header(-cookie=>[$cookie1]);
I think this will help. |

Works for me also on IE.
By the way I installed it on one of my sites, I think its a fantastic idea and you are very generous in giving it to us.
Thanks

Thank you master, your script really works.
But I have a question, if the user has cookies blocked, then his/her sales won't be added to the affiliate's account, but only the vendor's. Is this right? If so, and you said 35% of visitors has cookies blocked, the %referred value of a product at clickbank marketplace won't exceed 65%. But the fact is many products have the %referred value more than 90%. Could you explain this for us?
Thanks! |

I am also a vendor and I have slightly different cookie checking script on my site. If visitor come to my site via hoplink and has cookie disabled - she get the message that offer to turn cookies on and try again. I added it long time ago for my affiliates to be sure they get credit for sale. This way I have 91% refered sales. |

Hey, I like your script, I added an improvement to it, I basically centered this picture on the page people see when cookies are disabled, I put it right over the browser text links. The image of the girl is from one of those 10 Billion pics in a box programs, so I don't know about the legality of using it, so use at your own risk, or find one of your own.
Here is the pic...

IE worked for me.
I blocked all cookies and click on the link.
Was told how to enable them.
And came back in.
Thanks for this. _________________ Marc David

I am sure they will, it all looks good to me!
Here is a screenshot of the final look I came up with, except it's centered on my page...

I have received a few questions like "why did you used JavaScript based counter in your script?"
The answer is simple - this way it will count only real visitors hits, but not spiders, because SE spiders never execute JavaScript. |

Will everyone keep us updated with the results?
I want to make sure it actually improves conversion rates before trying.
It would be nice, if it automatically loaded up the cookie preferences for the user somehow. _________________ EasyWritingBiz.com - How To Earn A Full Time Living Doing Freelance Writing On The Internet! 75%
