    Hi Guys

I have EasyClickMate installed and so every time an affiliate sale is made, I get an email saying "A sale has been made by affiliate, xx"

Twice in the last 3 days I received the email saying an affiliate sale has been made, but on Clickbank stats no affiliate sale has been recorded.

The first time was particularly embarassing, as the affiliate had received his email confirming that a sale had been made and had viewed his own Clickbank stats only to see no record of a sale.

At least the second time I spotted it myself and could warn the affiliate.

The scary thing for affiliates is that if I didn't have EasyClickMate installed there would have been no record of this.

I don't think it is an error on my part, as it seems to have been functioning correctly until recently.

Has anyone else experienced this? It's a pretty worrying trend.

Hopefully Steve will see this post, otherwise I will contact Clickbank myself.

    Best wishes

    Frank

    Frank,

    ClickBank is correct.
    easyClickMate is 'wrong'

There is a certain case where it is not possible for
easyClickMate to correctly identify the affiliate.

Adrian can give you the details - he will be back from
vacation on April 6/7. It's possible that his new
    version will eliminate this problem.

    Arun,

How can you be sure that I don't mean April 2005 and
that Adrian is taking a year's sabbatical ?

In which time easyClickMate release number 137 will
    solve every single ClickBank problem.

    Thanks Harvey.

The strange thing is that ECM picked up an affiliate ID in the 1st place if Clickbank didn't.

Also, the customer had already emailed me to say that she had purchased through the affiliate link.

    Looking forward to the explanation!
