    Hello,

This is Mike Mograbi. I'm launching a mega Self-Improvement website soon called Self-Improvement Genie! "Your Wish to Become the Best... Come True!"

I want to contact all Clickbank vendors in the "Health & Fitness" Category to tell them about it and see if they're interested in promoting their products by submitting articles and ebook excerpts.

How can I contacted them without having to do it site by site?

Any ingenious suggestions would be highly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Mike Maher M.

Is that pretty much the classical definition of spamming: Sending a standard email to everybody who fits some vaguely defined criteria, whether or not you know them, and whether or not they are *genuinely* likely to be interested, etc.

What if everybody with a "new" site did that?

I'm not saying you can never approach people you don't know, but I think there's a big difference between approaching sites/people individually, after discovering they are open to this type of email (e.g. reading it on their site), and sending a mass email to everybody who fits some fairly broad brush criteria.

In other words, I don't think what you're looking for, is a good idea.

I think you're right. I didn't look at it this way. I'll contact the important ones individually.

    Thanks.

I can see a bit of a dilemma. It is obviously in our interests (as vendors/affiliates) to be able to communicate about new products - but if you make it too easy, it just becomes abused and everyone gets 20 e-mails a day about products they are not interested in.

Perhaps a board could be added to the ClickBank Success Forum which would allow new users to post information about their new products here - and anyone interested could contact the person for further information. They could also specifically state what they are looking for (e.g. affiliates with sites in a certain field).

That way, no-one would get their inboxes invaded - and people would get a chance to have their products/services promoted to affiliates/other vendors fairly.

I think the world are beginning to despise anything that companies send via e-mail, so I try to avoid it. At least boards are voluntary in what you read.

    Best wishes,
    Neil
