    Aloha all,

I know that Adrian is on vacation now so I was hoping someone could help me with a technical question for easyclickmate. I pretty much have everything installed and going thru testing so I set my product cost to $0 and ordered and got to the registration page. This is where my problem is. After I fill out the registration info and try to proceed I get the page not found error. I believe it is trying to find the /ezGthankyou.php which I do have uploaded. Does it matter if my thank you /registration page is not in the same directory as the easyclickmate files?

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong.

    Thanks,
    Hookani

    Hookani,

There are two pages which you specify
    in the easyClickMate control panel

    1. Thank-You URL (forms) - this is the customer registration page

    2. Download URL - the page where you provide the link to the product

These pages can be in any directory in any domain

    Harvey,

I do have the two pages set up in the control panel but I think where the problem lies is where the customer goes after registration. This is where my error occurs. I think they are supposed to end up on a page that thanks them and tells them that the download info will be sent to their email address which they supplied in the registration page.

    Thanks,
    Hookani

    Hookani,

Can you confirm that in the registration page you have a form statement like this

    <form name=regcustomers method=post action=/ezGthankyou.php>

So we are saying that after submitting the form
the link /ezGthankyou.php in the action clause
    is not being accessed.

The form is on the same site I assume if not
    in the same directory.

    Harvey,

That is correct. The registration form (thank you page) is on the same site but not in the same directory. The registration form is here: mysite.com/subfolder/thankyou.php while the action clause is here at mysite.com/ezGthankyou.php.

    Thanks,

    Hi Hookani,

Just got back from our family vacation ... it was a good break.

Regarding your question, did you get a "System Error" when you submit
your registration? Or did you get a "404 page not found error" ?

If it's a "System Error", please un-check "Enable download protection
    and give it a try.

If it's a page not found error, then please check your urls carefully -
    a missing dot, slash, etc.

If that still doesn't work, please email me with a temporary login
    and I'll check for you.

    Warm regards,
    Adrian
ps: you can post to the support forum as that is now being monitored

Welcome back Adrian, it seem that you enjoy your holiday for the last few days, so it's time to work hard now Laughing
