I have been using clickbank.com for a long time now and only accept clickbank.com. I thought of mirroring my current site and offering clickbank.com and Paypal but want to still pay the affiliates the clickbank.com commission. Does anyone know of a tracking system that allows you to offer paypal.com and the clickbank hop link or some other tracking system to do this?

Do I need a customer script written? I found this web site commissiondirector.com but when I paid I got no download, only some weird banner site .. I have contacted clickbank about this .. it is really strange.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

    Thanks!

Harvey, thanks for the link .. I do have one specific question. Doesn't it seem worrysome because there are actually 2 transactions the customer has to go through in order to finilize the sale? What if the customer gets confused and stops after paying the affiliate .. then you as the merchant don't get paid ... the customer doesn't get to the thank you product page and writes you very angry. Has anyone ever had this problem?

Ok, I have used this type of "dual pay" script for over 12 months at:
    http://www.StartpageSecrets.com

If you take the time to visit my website, and in particular - the order page,
you will see that with sufficent explanation, any concerns that your visitors
may have - can be overcome. I've been using the "dual pay" system for
some time, using only Paypal ...

Well, I wanted to develop a system that would allow my affiliates to be
paid instantly, via Paypal (similar to Clickbank). The system has been
heavily modified, but is basically the same script that Harvey noted.

Ok, how does the system perform?

Well, at some stage last year (before my hosting company dissappeared),
I had over 1,400 affiliates. These people were happy with the way the
dual payment system worked, and several of my affiliates were selling
10+ copies of my ebook per day. So, as far as your affiliates are going
to be concerned - they will like it, *once* they get used to it ...

Ok - but how about the "customer experience" ???

Well, I have had about 500 sales using this system, and around 1% are
problematic. Sometimes people just don't get it, and then other people
somehow manage to stuff up the dual pay ordering process - BUT, and
this is a big BUT ... most of the customers understand and complete their
payment without any troubles. It really comes down to the type of web
customer. New users of the internet will probably understand faster, than
the ultra sceptical (I want the world for less than $1) type of customers.

But all in all, I do not regret my decision to offer my affiliates a dual-pay,
instant commission program - and my sales have been very acceptable.

    Hope this helps Smile

    Cheers,
    Jonathan

P.S. - If you are wondering where ClickBank fits into this post, well then
understand that you can use the script Harvey recommended, to run a
similar system using only Clickbank, or Clickbank or Paypal, or just
good old Paypal by itself (this is how I am running things for now).

Wow Jonathan, I congratulate you on getting this to work but i have to say that knowing my customers it would be a support nightmare.
