    Yep, Australia.

My Average sales per day is 4 items.....so 6 items sold Sunday morning represents a good pick my side too.

    Update:
Sunday noon, just hit the ten items sold. A very strong pick today indeed.

Here is an interesting link for those who are interested in statistics.

Regression toward the mean is a ubiquitous statistical phenomenon stating that of related measurements, the second is expected to be closer to the mean than the first. This in simple English means don't expect sales to average. Check it out...

I've been doing this "stuff" for about 8 years now, and unless you are selling outdoor equipment, travel, etc. things usually will slow down for you in the spring and summer. It's the normal cycle.

In the winter half the country is experiencing crappy weather (I'm referring to the US here), and people stay at home and use the computer a lot. They are often looking for things to do so things related to making money online from home, etc. usually do especially well.

During spring and summer the weather gets nice, the kids are out of school, families go on vacation, play sports, etc. and overall people use their computers less. A LOT less.

Conversions also drop as well, so keep that in mind when you are wondering why your traffic might be the same as last month but your sales are down. Back to the "make money online from home" example ... someone might like your site and while thinking about it they decide they are just too busy with the kids and baseball practice, planning the family vacation, etc. etc. to get involved in a new venture right now.

I'm not saying anything in regards to "problems" at ClickBank one way or another, because I haven't experienced any myself but I don't know if I've just been lucky or not. But I do know for a fact how the Internet cycle works, and most of you will see less traffic and less sales over the next few months as many are starting to see now.

    Max_m,

I just got an error page logging into my Clickbank account now,
and paid closer attention this time. It says at the bottom of the page,
"Cannot find server or DNS error"

    Limitup,
The product I heavily promote is not a seasonal product. Last year from
January through July, my best months were June and July. My sales
were better the rest of the year, but that was because I started using
Adwords in August, hadn't been using them before that. And my
sales in April last year did not decline at all from February or
March. Sales may decline for you in the summertime, but they do not
for everyone. I've never had the big decline in sales from one month
to another like I did this year in April. Six of the nine days so far in
May have been good days though.

    Thanks wayne,

DNS errors are what i suspected and encountered myself on a few occasions when clicking my aff links. I will start a new thread to ask other members if i run
across this error again as well as bring it to CB's attention (this error may suggest that they might be having some issues with their domain name host or some sort of sporadic dos attacks (still plenty of viruses running wiled out there Ė who knows).

Sales my end have been really good the last few days as well as today.....seems like all systems are go (we're back to what i expect to see when logging to check my states......knock on wood ! item sold are ticking up nicely Wink ).

    Cheers
    Max

My sales weren't real good yesterday, but it was Mother's Day, so
will see what happens today. They were good Saturday though.

Right now most all of my promotion is through Adwords. So maybe it
is a problem with them. But I have the traffic come to my site and I
have a stats script on my page, and am still receiving the normal traffic
to my page. So the traffic is still coming from Adwords, and the same
keywords are being used. But like I said, my sales did start out good
this month, and yesterday was Mother's Day, so I will wait and see
what happens today. My traffic levels were lower than normal yesterday.

I'm not very successful with adwords myself.

I'm running a campaign with approx 600 keywords, i get the impressions, i get the clicks but the traffic does not convert well.

The sales seem to come only from free SE traffic. Yahoo and AOL in particular. I get excited every time i see an AOL or Yahoo lead browsing the site.....the conversion rate is real high with them.

Google Adwords just doesnít deliver for me.....i just increased the budget by 60% added a few more hundreds of keywords and key phrases (spelling errors, spaces omitted from keyphrases etc.) but no bites.

Did you try overture ? Just wondering, Iím thinking of giving them a go.

Adwords has been working very well for me since I started using them
August of last year. Last month wasn't good, but I don't think Adwords
was the problem. I've found Overture to be too expensive and I get
very little traffic from them. I do have an account with them. Findwhat
used to work very well for me until the last month or two of last
year, when my ROI really dropped with them. I still use them
occasionally, but just can't get the ROI I used to. They used to be my
favorite place to advertise. I have to believe Adwords is still working,
because the first five days this month were good. I do have the
Google and Findwhat tracking code on a thank you page the merchant
set up for me, so I know where my sales are coming from.

I think there must have been a problem with sales yesterday. I
lost money again, and have reduced my advertising. Now this
morning I have 5 sales already even though my traffic volume is
very low, which makes me think people must have had problems
ordering yesterday and are returning today to purchase. Guess
I'll put my advertising back to normal since it seems like sales
are coming in good again now.
