I have just found and unusual fee that my account was credited with for some $5.7 with the vendor name "reseller".

I have never used this account for any affiliate activity. What could this be?

The vendor "reseller" actually belongs to Clickbank.

If you construct a hoplink: yourID.reseller.hop.clickbank.net

You will be redirected to the Clickbank sign-up page.

I think the amount is probably the referral fees for new account signups at Clickbank.

The Clickbank referral link format has changed over the years, but I think the old links still works.

    Best regards,
    Adrian

Well it looks like somehow your affiliate ID was passed through to someone who became a Clickbank product vendor. I don't know about you, but I love getting those sudden surprised commissions.

Its from the receipts for your product I think.

If you've ever bought a Clickbank product, you can take a look at the receipt. There's a link that lets the customer join Clickbank to sell their own digital stuff. It's coded to benefit the vendor.

I just checked out one of my receipts and its right at the bottom.
