Hi everyone! Let me introduce myself so you know where
    I am coming from.

    I have been studying Internet Marketing/Direct Response/Copywriting
for about 2 years and finally have my first Internet project complete.

An ebook that I wrote and will be selling thru Clickbank. Just submitted
    my email today for approval.

Here are some questions I have and hoping you can help me out.

I have my nickname for Clickbank. Can that be used as the same
for my affiliate nickname? Am I automatically signed up as a reseller
since I am a seller myself?

Some websites when signing up to be an affiliate ask for your Clickbank
    nickname to be an affiliate.

Is this the nickname I have now or do I need to sign up to be an affiliate?

If I wanted to send a person to Clickbank to browse the products
    what is my affiliate link?

As you can see I am confused as to whether or not I need to sign up
to be an affiliate or if I already am because I signed up to sell an ebook.

Clickbank is wonderfull because of everything it does and I am sure the
inventor is a gazillionaire but they really should pay someone to
re-write the instructions so that they are much more clear to the
    complete newbie.

When people start writing e-books on the subject of "How to Get Signed
Up" for Clickbank it might be a good sign that the instructions are not
    exactly newbie or user friendly...

Anyways those are some of the things I am confused about. I searched
the forum for the answer but did not find what I was looking for.

The good news is I found a free link cloaker software.

All I gotta do now is figure out how to use it.

This is a great forum and one of the best ways I have found to learn
    things.

Your first stop should be Harvey Segal's excellent website http://www.clickbankguide.com/ where many of your questions will be answered for free.

To address a couple of specifics: if you are already signed up at clickbank as a merchant, you can happily use the same nickname for your affiliate sales. All the money you make will simply end up in the same pot.

On the other hand, signing up separately for a different affiliate account doesn't cost you anything and would allow you to keep both sides of your business apart. It is your call, but personally, I like to run two accounts.

When a website asks you for your Clickbank nickname it is usually so that they can generate a custom made hoplink for you. Use whichever nickname that you want to be credited for your affiliate sales.

I'm sure our esteemed hosts can elaborate further for you, but meanwhile, I hope this helps.

    Martin.

    Thanks Martin Very Happy

Yes, I agree. Harvey has an excellent free ebook called
"Clickbank Supertips" which is a must read for those who are just
    starting out with Clickbank.

    Warm regards,
    Adrian
