    Hello Everybody,

I recently purchased a very good info product on Clickbank and want to start promoting it. The product has multiple ebooks.

Is it acceptable to use 1 of the ebooks to help build my list? When/if they purchase the product they will have 2 copies of 1 of the books. I don't want to make people feel like they have been tricked, but, the material is very good quality.

Any thoughts, suggestions would be great.

    Thanks,
    Bob

If the product you purchased did not come with a reprint or give-away right then NO, you cannot give it away for ANY reason without the vendors approval.

Imagine how you'd feel if I gave away your product without your consent?

I had someone do this to me a while back. I got Aweber to shut his autoresponder account within 2 hours and also got hostgator to shutdown his hosting.

Just like all other hard working marketers you need to create your own giveaway product for list building. At times it puzzles me the length people will go to short-cut their way to success (or more like failure).

There are no reprint or giveaway restrictions. I am not trying to "shortcut" anything, just asking a question.

The lack of 'reprint/giveaway' restrictions does not mean you can do those things. Maybe you are new to this but no one sells things with a default 'reprint/giveaway' right unless it's explicitly stated. And in such cases the sales page will push that as a selling point.

Your best solution would be to ask the VENDOR of the product this question. That will solve the issue of us doing guesswork with minimal info.

you cant give away a book without the explicit and written consent of the vendor.

But You dont need to do it!

Most of the products in clickbank have in their affiliate area a report that is specifically written to giveaway for list building purpose.

    OR

you can go to PLR sites where you can grab some books,
    OR
you can hire a freelancer to write a book: it seems to be expensive

BUT even if it could cost you 50 usd,

you can use it for lead generation even in amazon: sell it for as low as 1 or free and in every page you can print
    your opt-in page URL.
