Okay, is everyone's Adwords ads displaying?

Mine stopped displaying yesterday midday. Everything is good, all ads are active, the account is paid in full, there are no disabled ads, just nothing is displaying. I normally display about 80,000 ads per day with 1000 - 2000 impressions.

Not unusual at all; they often have delayed stats like that. Have you tried a search for your keywords to be sure that they are not displaying?

I have had them go all day showing "0" on everything.

wow- 80,000 ads with almost 2000 impressions each?

Lets calculate that based on a 1.5%ctr..

Thats about 30 clicks per ad.

per day you get about 2,400,000 clicks?

    wow!

say you have a 1% conversion rate.

thats around 24,000 sales per day.

say the average commision you sell for all your products are $15.00

That means you rack in a grand total of around $360,000 per day!

    That is hard to believe.

what type of products are you promoting?

Every product in the clickbank marketplace?

Thanks Kaylowe. I've seen the delay, but it's usually a few hours max and my sales numbers are real time, but sales are at 0.00 for 36 hours because my ads haven't been displaying. I'm working on trying to find out why.

To CBGuy and others.. I may have put that wrong. I meant, 80,000 impressions with 2000 TOTAL clicks for this campaign. Not 80,000 adgroups. Heavens-2-betsy, I can't imagine managing that!

I have about 250 adgroups in this particular campaign.

But, none of my campaigns are currently running.

    Odd Charles.

I have never seen anything like that before.

Your ads appear live but actually are not?

Wow. They disabled my whole account. They say I violated their editorial content rules to frequently. I'm totally frustrated because I worked hard to maintain a good relationship with them. My web page is good, not misleading. My ads are clear.

They won't respond to e-mails or anything.

I'm so frustrated. I'm seeing red.

I've had ads cancelled because their were keywords which were copywrited, but as soon as I was notified about that, I killed those keywords.

Anytime Google said, "Jump", I jumped.

Now I'm trying to get the account turned back on. All I want to do is run my ads.

I'm beginning to see real danger in Googles '400 pound gorilla' status, because they can run roughshod over advertisers.

I guess one of the reasons I'm frustrated is because it's difficult dealing with Google. Creating the ads and everything is easy, but God help you if you need an answer to a question. It's hard to get answers from them. When they complained about a product I was selling, I even asked them what product I could sell in its stead. I completely redid my web pages (over 100 of them) and still Google cancelled my account.

I'll keep working to get back into their good graces. Because I don't see how I can bring traffic to my site without them.

    Jeez.

Yes, I noticed Google becomming much more strict about ads over the summer. My account began to get frozen for strange things. I had a click through rate of above 5% and my account was frozen. Google never explained this to me and I complained. They credited my account $25 to cover the $5 re-activation fee, and $20 for the problem. I then had them create an ad-group for me which did terrible. Since then I have not used adwords for affiliate programs as it has become a waste of time for many affiliate programs.
I still use it for shipping of physical products I stock at my store, but other than that ad-words makes me mad.

Hmmm....I've had just the opposite experience.

The worst problem I've encountered with adwords is a couple isolated incident of fraudulant clicks (which the y reimbursed me for).

One common theme I've noticed across multiple message board sites si that most of the advertisers that get dropped are promoting some form of the following:

    1. adware/spyware/virus removers
    2. some form of "how to make money" type product
    3. music/movie/game downoading or copying software/systems

Now, I know there are legitimate products that fall into the above categories, but unfortunately, there seem to be many more illiegitmate ones (with more sprouting up every day).

I think the best way to stay out of hot water is to simply promote in other areas.

Better yet....become a niche product merchant yourself, and save all those headaches all together.
