    Hi everyone Smile

I am new 2 clickbank, I've been promoting products for about 3 days now.

There is one product in particular that I am promoting and I have got 1,879 clicks - 405 of these clicks went on to buy the product page but no sales. Can someone please explain to me why this might be?

I don't think you mean 'buy' but what exactly do you mean and where are you getting the figures from ?

    Sorry.

Thank you for replying to my post.

What I mean is they clicked on buy now which took them to a page where can fill in there card details to have access to the product but they didn't go through with it. I am using the analytics tool on clickbank that shows you how many clicks, sales ect you have got.

The figure that surprises me is: Order Form Impression Count = 405

That is an exceptionally high click through for 1879 hits

And if it is correct I can't see how not one person went on to submit an order form.

I would suggest that you contact the vendor and provide these figures
    - Order Form Impression Count = 405
    - Order Form Server Calls = 0

and ask him if he can explain

    Thank you for the reply.

Can you tell me how to contact the vendor please? I am really worried now because my id and tracking code has disappeared from the payment page.

Yeah that is the case some times my clients face they have first page keywords and soo many clicks and views but no sales why ? I don't know its all to do with the type of niche that we are working and the type of product that we are trying to promote it depends on the user.

It could be the TYPE of traffic you're getting. A bunch of untargeted traffic isn't good for anything even if it's a massive amount unfortunately.

    Hello,
I think you was advertising to the visitors. Try marketing in a very specific area of what your offering.
    Thanks

Trying to discover why people do what they do can be frustrating. The fact that you are able to get 25% of your total visitors to click through to a product is impressive. This means that you are doing something right on your website, most likely. It is possible that the keywords you are using to attract people to your site are not buyer keywords. For example, if someone types the phrase "what are the symptoms of an anxiety attack" into Google they are much less likely to purchase than someone who types "stop anxiety attacks right now" into Google. The second person is looking for a solution right now. If you aren't targeting the wrong keywords I would recommend split testing other products and evaluating their conversion rates.

Sounds like your traffic is not targeted enough. Try thinking outside the box.

You need to look into your conversions, may be install tracking scripts to see what your visitors are doing on the site.

Email marketing is the best way to capture your traffic to your e-mail list, so you can e-mail them in the future to promote your services. You'll make lot of sales this way.

    Hello emmajones2012,

If that matter is not caused by tracking error, you can try again to offer your product to Targeted customers by this way:

    - Review your opt-in page to find if there are some things need changes, and make sure your follow-up emails working well.
    - Targeted traffic to your opt-in page
+ Drive dree traffic from several related forums/blogs that you can find them by searching on google, bing, yahoo... using keywords like:
"market_name + forum" (ex: dog training forum)
"market_name + blogs" (ex: dog training blogs)
+ Try a paid PPV ads to get quick results for motivation in beginning time.

Keep monitoring to see what will happen to your sales.

    Hope this helps,
    Hwang
