    Greetings from Germany!

The latest mail from November 2015 "Clickbank for newbies" gave me an unexpected shock: Harvey wrote in chapter 4 about the "dormant accounts".

I opened my account in clickbank at 20th June 2001.

Does this mean I have to pay all the charges for inactivity? I never sold any products.

The last contact was with clickbank on 11th August 2014 because I wanted to change my street adress and I got a very friendly answer from their support to manage this.

NOW: Please tell me if I have to pay any charges if I enter the clickbank area and want so sell as an affiliate?

Yes, they will charge some amount. I have created my account in Clickbank on 2013 and made no sales throughout the year. And when I made my first sale, they deducted some amount, don't remember how much that was, but they did.

No - they will not charge you BEFORE your first sale and then only if there is no further sale in 90 days.

Such company actions is not exclusive to Citi. Other cards providers are known for ending non-active cards accounts, which is why we are often recommended to create a little cost here and there to keep the accounts active.
