    THE CLICKBANK GUIDE

Can you guess what the following object is ?

    http://hop.clickbank.net/?affiliate-id/merchant-id

Yes, it's a ClickBank hoplink - the basic affiliate URL.

See how easy it is for a customer to replace the
affiliate-id with his own and deprive the affiliate of
    his due commission.

There have been many methods proposed to prevent this
but you know what ... they are all pointless IF the
merchant sticks a big bold Earn Money link on his sales
page. In other words a link to join the affiliate
    program.

Stopping affiliate link theft therefore needs to be
    combatted on TWO fronts

    1. Making it impossible to re-create the hoplink
    2. Stopping the customer from signing up as an affiliate
if he has arrived via an affiliate link

This combined approach is something I've rarely seen in
all the discussions about the problem so I've decided to
address both issues in a new page at my site

'How To Stop ClickBank Link Theft'
    http://www.clickbankguide.com/linktheft.htm

Do let me know if there are more ClickBank topics you
would like to see at the ClickBank Guide.

And maybe you can help. I'm looking for good quality
articles to add to the ClickBank Articles list.
    Submission details here

    Harvey
