There is a serious need to create professional
capture pages with your clickbank products.

If you are advertising, and sending people to a site,
and they click away, and you do not capture
their Email...you just wasted your advertising dollars.
    What good is that?

I would rather have 10 people opt in than to have
50 people visit and click away

It is a fact that people tend to buy on the 5th to 7th
exposure to your products or services.

And it allows you to start to build a list of clients.

The money is in the list.

SO I suggest if you want to build a prosperous business
and make yourself stand out. Create Landing pages or
Capture pages that work...Take a look and find some
online with successful marketers. They all use capture
    pages....hummmm I wonder why...

    Poll:

    This post was:

    1. Spam?
    2. Almost spam?
    3. A desperate attempt to make spam look like a valid post by nudging the link to the spammers website just below the sig line?

    Anyone? Confused

    So lets see...

If you have something of value that will help others make money and you want to help others make money it would be advisable to not share it?

Are you not suppose to share that?

Is it not true that Capture pages are important?

    Do you use capture pages?

I thought the objeict here was to help others Market Thier clickbank products smarter and wiser.....Yes?

I can remove the links...But what good would that do?

Does the system I use help people? Yes it does...

    So helping people constitues spam...hummm

    Fine..Lets not help people...

I will remove the links...that does alot of good...

I have removed the links so you can not see a system
that will help you make more money ...

I do not want to offend anyone...just help...
but not at the cost of spamming...

    There TDollars...is that better?

Now no one can find out how to build professional Capture pages in 15 minutes that include audio and video that allows for split testing and
    includes autoresponders and more...

And it allows you to test the whole thing for seven days
so you can try it before you buy it..

Nope dont want to show you a way to improve you
    business... that might constitute spam...

So I guess we will just say that a great capture page would help
    you improve you clickbank business....

    Sidekick Sam,

    Of course that is spamming.

You may as well say that autoresponders will help your business
    - and have an affiliate link to an autoresponder.

Or ad trackers, pop-ups, affiliate cloaking tools,
ebook covers ... and so on.

Well suppose we let everyone announce every single tool,
ebook, report, tip, article, software which can help with
    marketing ?

I think that is what is called a free ads forum.

The way to help is to answer the specific questions being
    asked at the forum

so Tdollars is advertising to join his Survey Affiliate program...

Then I guess NO one should have a sig file that points to any programs...

It is just irritating that when you have something good to share, others claim Spam...

My intent was to help people find a resource that would HELP there
business grow and become more effective...

    Thus become better marketers...

Thus the title of this Forum...Marketing Clickbank Products..

So how is one to better market thier products?

What if there was a tool that made this more effective?

    How would one share this?

    Isn't that the objective here?

As I've just pointed out there could be a million

DO try not to insult our collective intelligence. Your intent is to sell something wrapped in a pseudo-helpful post.

I don't have a beef with Sig files (although the ones that are longer than 3-4 lines DO start to look a bit like billboards)....I do have a problem with a brand new forum member trying to mask what is really a marketing pitch as helpful advice. There's a place to advertise on this forum...feel free to pay Harvey to use it.

Personally, I think people should have to earn the right to use a Sig file (maybe there's a phpbb mod that can do this?). It would be great to require 40-50 posts of a minimum length to qualify for a Sig file (just an idea Wink )

It's irratating to me that you'd use a teaser type pull to get people to click your link on a forum full of people who understand internet marketing.

It would have been much better to do a first post with some actual and COMPLETE information.

Ya see... that's a nice trick for the common folks. Give them good but incomplete information so they feel they must click on your link to find out more.

Here it's obvious you want to sell another product.

You will see lots of signatures to other sites but those people have contributed their fair share of valuable info.

Why is it that every person who posts a link in a forum to somewhere else (1st post) cries foul?

If you had a forum and I posted immediately about how great my idea was.. would you not be sort of pissed off?

Establish yourself as a community member before asking everybody to jump ship to see what capture page deal you have going.

It could be the BEST thing ever! But play by the rules. It's how a community works.

Here! Here!!! Yes!! Best idea I have read today. I am sure this type of mod could be easily developed, unfortunately I lack the expertise and the time, but it's a great idea. This would prevent a lot of time wasting posts such as this one. Smile

Having a message limit before extra priveleges are earned sometimes has the reverse affect and creates more spam and useless posts as new members are trying to reach the milestone as quickly as possible.

A better idea is minimum posts + minimum time or something else.

It isn't really an issue here anyway because as soon as someone posts something crap everyone just jumps on it immediately Smile

    cheers

well if you count spaces my email sig is six lines and I even have the gall to post my hoplink in the sig file thugh no monitor has yelled at me about that.

That's about all the irriating things I can think of I do (please don't ask my wife however I'll be kicked off every forum I belong to if she starts in on how irritating I am). When I directed people to a product I had it was in response to a question or another post

That's all I can think of this newbie to this forum is doing

An autoit forum I belong to, a bunch of programming geniuses who feed me scraps once in a while has a forum that shows beginner intermediate advanced. If that is possible in this forum then it should be possible to do ifs or cases off of those variables

Here's the difference. You can use a sig file if you ask questions, offer input/answers to the questions and valuable information to forum members. You can't go writing about your own site in the sig, promoting it.

Here's a general rule of thumb:

If the whole point of your post is to get people to click on your link, it is SPAM, whether the link be written inside the message, in the sig file, image, popup, or tatooed on your forhead.

    So you can't do this:

Everybody knows that survey sites are popular. In fact they are the easiest way to make money online. That's why the conversions are so high, and every affiliate should at least promote one, preferrably one that has Cookie Checker, Custom Affiliate landing pages, low, low refunds, and 7 Follow Up emails (that I collect using none other than a **GASP** "capture page" Laughing )

I'm not going to tell you which one, but I'm going to leave you to guess Cool

I haven't checked the forum rules if you're serious I'll change it. I can make a lot more money off you guys with your knowledge then I can with your wallets so I don't want to tick off the moderators and owners as the new guy.

First statement from a strictly business point of view naturally.

    Rick,

We don't have a rule about signature size (yet).

However, personally, I don't find your sig file
of 3 basic URLs at all enticing.

Why not just use one with a good one line description.

    Example follows.
