That's why I don't pay too much attention to people suggesting good
programs that work for them. I've noticed one certain product keeps
having different posters recommending this product, but all of these
posters have only made a couple of posts total on this forum. Makes
me wonder at times if these are all the same person.

Survey sites do fine for me. In my opinion, people are more likely to buy a membership to something that they think they can make money from.

I get really worried about the programs that are basically about making money.

Essentially, they are not that different from gambling - put $39.95 down, and you might "win" the thousands they are talking about. And, just as in gambling, most people loose out. Can anyone honestly say they think that the vast majority of people that buy a money-making eBook even actually earn the price back again?

We, of course, may be the exceptions. A good number of us here probably began by buying an eBook on affiliate marketing, and gave it a shot.

However, the temptation for affiliates to promote these products is always there. There are, sadly, "suckers born every minute." If people are out there willing to give their money over, why shouldn't we take our cut? We kind of loose our moral objectivity when the money is rolling in. These are no longer people sitting in their homes somewhere in the world - they are just numbers, blips on our webstats or a line on our ClickBank stats.

I completely agree with lotr that you need to get people something they need. It's just that most people think they need money - and that it will sort out all of their problems.

There's also the fact that people are less likely to think that paying nearly $40 for a download is a rip off if they are going to make that back. Then, they can think of it as an "investment."

I would certainly not feel that proud telling people that I made £xxx, xxx just telling other people how to make £xxx, xxx. It's kind of a viscious circle where money is being passed about, but nothing is getting created.

I am sure most people are willing to pay for real information that will enhance their lives, in a non-monetary sense.

Someone commented recently that this forum is more guarded than others - that people don't offer much, and just ask "I've just opened a ClickBank account - please tell me all your secrets." If we are all targetting these same programs, this will continue. If, however, we all developed our own niches - and own products to go with them - we could work together.

These are my feelings on the subject - and it's 2:14am when I write this, so they may be a little loose.

    Kind Regards,
    Neil

IMHO, the single best tool any affiliate to ClickBank can use is 1stPromotion. Their tools and resources have enabled me to take my ClickBank sales to the next level.

My ppc ads go to the search results page for any niche I care to create...
    really quite kool.

How I got there was kind of roundabout. I was looking for a way to
increase sales and started to look into the different ClickBank malls
    out there.

Of course, the first one I found was CBMall. (nice marketing Jeff)
I then took the extra step and researched a little further and found others
too. I then came up with the top 2 CBMall and 1stPromotion.

I bought both of them. After comparing CBMall to 1stPromotion, I made the decision to go with "the underdog" 1stPromotion. Best ClickBank income decision I have ever made. There are more features and resources in 1stPromotion than in some of the membership sites that I pay $40.00 a month for access to. I don't really think these guys know exactly what they have there.

    M.R.

lotr, i won't say if my site converts good or not, that would be pointless since everyone would claim that for his own, but if you plan to give a try to mp3 commander send me a PM or an email to affiliates @ gmail.com and I'll do my best to assist you.
