THE CLICKBANK GUIDE
Issue 72: Oct 7, 2006
Harvey Segal, Editor
Here is the very BEST way to promote a ClickBank product
(or any affiliate product) - bar none.
* You provide a personal review which clearly shows that
you have read it, in the case of a book, or used it if
it is a software tool.
* Don't churn out the same promotional material from a
vendor like other affiliates do.
Having said that I've just made a discovery about my own
reviews.
If I sat down and rewrote them my affiliate commissions
would SOAR.
How come ?
Because I've just come across the best way to write a
review - or a "pre-sell" - page.
It was explained to me in a new book where the author
gives examples of his successful pre-sell pages and
dissects them for the reader showing each key component
from the headline to the call to action. It's a format
you would do well to emulate.
If the book had ended there then this information alone
would be worth the cost of the book (many many times)
but I'm pleased to say it was just the beginning.
Pleased because this book has recently caused a huge
BUZZ in affiliate and ClickBank circles.
Which had led me to wonder - was it the usual case of
over hype ?
But no.
The above 'secret' technique was revealed straight away
in Chapter 1: The Art of The Pre-Sell.
The book goes on to describe a collection of affiliate
methods - many of which you may not have come across
before - such as a chapter showing you how to copy what
super affiliates are doing.
Best of all there is a heavy emphasis on the use of
AdWords techniques - which is ideal for those (such as
newbies) who don't have big mailing lists.
Which means you can get started getting those affiliate
commissions right away.
Even better, you will be entitled to future updates. And
this is what is coming. From the author
"I am going to be adding to the product HEAVILY for a
MASSIVE update over the next few weeks - more examples,
live video tutorials, beginners sections, super advanced
Adwords techniques, more ways to "borrow" from the super
affiliates, a chapter from a $397 backend I had planned
for next year... in short, if it was a monster before,
then wait until you see version 2"
You can check out this book (which is now breaking
ClickBank records ****) here

**** Update Oct 8th. Record broken for most units shifted in a day)
Regards
Harvey

I totally agree with your review Harvey.
It hits home and touches different nerves compared to any of Ken Evoy's books.
I can tell you have read it and are already using some of the strategies discussed _________________ Andy Beard |

Harvey,
You should not feel bad about mailing your list once a year. If it is good content that you have, you are doing your readers a dis-service by not contacting them.
Once a month, is totally acceptable. Maybe you can put a check-box in the profile section that gives people the option to get your monthly updates on the forum and highlights.
Then accounce this new feature. That is my 2 cents.

sitepacker,
The problem has been that I previously used the mass
mailing facility at the forum which means every forum
member receives it and there is no way to opt out.
With the latest mailing I've been able to export the
members to my mailing list software which now provides
the unsubscribe option at the end.
Thanks for the suggestion.
