    Hi everyone,

Congratulations on this forum! I've learned more in 15 minutes of surfing here than I have in the last 6 months online. So, thanks.

I am an absolute beginner. I am writing several ebooks to publish, and I am an affiliate for several programs and other ebooks. I have the resell rights to several. Here's my questions:

    1) In your experience, is it better to start with the affiliate products, or my own, and why?

    2) I have my own small list (<500 through two ezines I publish in a niche market) and will want to build it. I intend to use the ezines and the lists for marketing the ClickBank products. What are the best ways to do this (I guess that's 2 questions -- build the lists, and market the products)?

    3) What other methods are effective for you, in marketing your ClickBank products?

    Thanks for your insights!

I'm not sure it matters which way, but you may be
    interested in how I started.

Two years ago it occurred to me that producing your own
ebook could very profitable. I wasn't sure how to go
about it using the ClickBank system so I started one
step at a time, first as an affiliate then as a seller
    of resale products.

While learning the ropes I noticed that questions about
using ClickBank were constantly popping up at the forums.
If only there was a guide to help people, I thought.
Then it dawned on me - I would have to produce it.

Hence my site, The ClickBank Guide
    http://www.clickbankguide.com

(And I still haven't written a paid book , they are all free)

As regards the marketing of products in your newsletter
I feel the best way is to produce a personal review of
how the product works for, or has benefitted, you.

Google AdWords is a very popular method.

    This is quite helpful.

May I glean from your approach that you are also using your ebooks as entry points or marketing tools from which you make your real money through the affiliate products you offer in the books?

    Nancy,

Yes there are affiliate links in the books.

    Also they can be rebranded.

I explain in detail in my free-and-rebrandable book
