ClickBank is continuing to put into effect the suggestions
made at recent meetings with their advisory board members.
In particular they are currently testing a new order form
layout which is bound to improve conversion rates.
So publishers and affiliates should soon be able to sit back
and see increased profits without lifting a finger - apart
from some optional additional fields for the publisher.
Now if you are an affiliate and wanting to increase your
conversion rate for a specific product my advice in the past
has always been to provide a personal review showing how
you use the product and how it has benefitted you.
However it's time for a variation.
Many people don't have the time to read detailed web pages -
hence the fast growing popularity of video on the Net
So how about having a video review instead of using the
written word ?
Now there would appear to be 2 ways to accomplish this
1. You can do it yourself by purchasing a video creation
tool, learning how to produce videos and churning them out
for each product you wish to promote
2. You can try to persuade the publisher of a product to
provide video for his affiliates.
However Jay Douglas, a renowned Internet video infomercial
producer, has come up with a 3rd way.
His new service will provide a regular selection of video
reviews of the top Marketplace products encoded with your
affiliate link. So all you need to do is point your visitor
to the ones you want to promote and when the video stops
playing the viewer will automatically be directed to the
publisher's web site, through your affiliate link, so you
get credit for any resulting sale.
