Is it possible for a vendor to intercept a click though to an offer and re-direct to another affiliate code? I have reason to suspect this due to the amount of traffic sent to the offer though my masked link (4,000 hits in 30days). The sales page also has three e-mail opt-ins on it. Once I opted in on one I started to recieve many e-mails to offer the same product though their link! Confused

    Has this happened before? Sad

Yes - by altering the payment link

Not illegal but best to avoid such vendors

Perhaps some more information is in order. Out of the 4,000 click thru's
last month there were no conversions to my link! Most of the links were through an article I wrote that now has a high rank. Some were through a paid ad.

Not that it matters at this point but I at least retained some leads for my list recieved through one of the links. Maybe I can refer a different product and possibly recoup some of the ad money spent.

    Is this leagal? Confused

Have you actually clicked through your own HopLink and gone all the way to the order form & checked that your nickname shows up at the bottom, to make sure that the HopLink is crediting you properly? This is always the first thing to check. If it's not working properly, please let me know.
